Senior Data Analyst
This role is eligible for our five day flex office work model. Senior Data Analyst Priceline.com is seeking a Senior Analyst for our Hotels & Flights business unit. This role will be responsible to execute and improve upon Priceline.com's strategy for Hotels, Flights pricing & competitive intelligence. As a Senior Analyst you will influence and challenge Pricing decisions made within the Strategic Pricing and Analytics team by delivering insightful analysis, predictive models and innovative strategies. The ideal candidate for this role has prior Pricing experience in an e-commerce or marketplace environment, strong analytical skills with an excellent track record of execution. The ideal candidate forthis role has prior Pricing experience in the Travel industry, preferably with hotels or flights, and strong analytical skills with an excellent track record of execution Execute and improve upon Priceline.com's strategy for Hotels, Flight pricing & competitive intelligence Learn, upgrade and automate various pricing initiatives within Priceline.com, partnering with the Marketing, Parity, Tech, Product, Finance and other analytical teams Develop innovative solutions and techniques to ensure Priceline.com's pricing remains competitive, profitable and innovative Influence and challenge decisions made by the team through timely & insightful analysis and modeling Identify appropriate reports to support decision making, recommend and build enhancements to our Pricing reporting infrastructure Partner with Analytics, Tech, Product and Marketing Teams to optimize our pricing campaigns and streamline our operations. Who you Are:
Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills are required Strong, hands on SQL experience, preferably with Oracle or Big Query, but other relational databases are OK Experience building or enhancing reports using Tableau and/or Excel Experience working with R/Python strongly preferred Experience with hypothesis testing and A/B testing A 'can do' attitude and a passion for analytics/data Strong communication skills, both written and oral Takes responsibility for results, owning assignments and projects Bachelor of Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics and at least 4 years of experience in analytics, consulting or technology Experience in data science, pricing, travel & e-commerce experience desired.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Data Science & Machine Learning, Business Intelligence & AnalyticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
