Senior Payroll Manager

Paying employees accurately, timely and in compliance with labor laws is a top priority at Priceline. The Sr. Manager Payroll will be responsible for overseeing all payroll related activities across Canada and growing and overseeing the payroll internationally . The individual will partner with People & Culture to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures and work to streamline payroll processes to achieve greater efficiency. The individual will be responsible for resolving issues and escalations as it relates to payroll and payroll taxes, and ensuring payroll processes adhere to SOX controls. In this role you will get to:
Process Payroll for Canada Oversee India payroll activities, directing and managing the Sr. Payroll Administrator based in India and liaising with the India payroll vendor. Review payroll processing for adherence to SOX controls. Review payroll outputs for accuracy. Lead the implementation of a new global payroll platform system to include Singapore, Germany and additional countries as needed. Oversee all payroll activities for new countries. Problem solve for current Workday to payroll integration issues. Lead the development of new Workday integrations in conjunction with People & Culture for the new global payroll system. Oversee the processing of accurate employee year end statements Oversee payroll tax filings and payments. Be the main point of contact for tax inquiries and work to resolve issues timely. Serve as subject matter expert for payroll, payroll taxes and payroll systems Ensure policies are current, relevant, and consistently applied Work closely with People & Culture and Corporate Tax as needed to provide reports and maintain partnerships. Who you are:
Have 7
years Canadian Payroll experience Have experience with International payroll Prior experience leading payroll system implementations Degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred Strong leadership, planning and organizational skills required to manage a complex process involving multiple internal and external stakeholders and systems Working experience and technical knowledge of various ADP systems Experience with Workday and Workday integrations Strong analytical ability and requires a high degree of attention to detail. Excellent ability to undertake a leadership role in bringing various stakeholders together as it relates to payroll and payroll processes to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time Effective written and oral communication skills. High degree of proficiency in Excel. Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
