Sage is looking for a Sales Operations resource who will be responsible for updating, cleansing and maintaining compensation data in an SQL database. The analyst must develop key indicator tracking, reporting tools, and mechanisms which may use tools like Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and/or Tableau with complex formulas, however, the ability to adopt and learn new age Management Information and Data Mining practices and techniques will be imperative to meet the changing demands of the business.Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Take a proactive approach to identify erroneous data and identify root causes of data quality issues
Assisting with data acquisition and data planning processes.
Taking ownership and escalating improvements to existing processes.
Maintain process and analysis of commission reports in various formats from global regions
Collaborates with global business areas to understand financial anomalies, identify trends, forecast potential impacts, and drive business decisions
Partner with department heads to gather metrics and data for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and perform analyses
Creates visual presentations (tables, charts, graphs, etc.) of financial information; prepares and presents management and executive level reports for leaders across the organization.
Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports and presentations
Serves on special projects and completes other duties and ad-hoc analysis, as requested
Qualifications:
2-4 years business and/or technical/academic training on Data Management tools, financial analysis, reporting, including report development
Comfortable working with ambiguity
Highly motivated self-starter, often taking initiative before being asked
Ability to adapt to rapid change and think creatively
High attention to detail with ability to extract data accurately.
Logical analytical mind and the ability to recognise discrepancies
Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookup tables), and other data mining tools
Excellent communication skills required to present findings and translate data into an understandable documents or presentations



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
