L'OCCITANE continues to grow, opening several new boutiques nationwide L'OCCITANE seeks to revive the Provencal way of life and traditions through high quality, effective personal care products as a great answer for natural well-being.
The Store Manager is responsible, both personally and through the management of our Beauty Advisor, for driving sales results, recruiting and building talent and managing operational excellence and developing brand loyalty in order to deliver natural based products and the Provencal experience that will provide tremendous growth in sales and a high profit margin. Store Managers exhibit our key values of authenticity and respect and will lead the store to PROSPERITY with pride, passion and confidence.
Drive Sales Results
oMeet or exceed daily, monthly and annual Key Performance Indicators by analyzing key business metrics, developing action plans, communicating ways to drive the business and managing performance of sales associates
oCreate associate schedules to ensure labor costs are managed strategically
oCreate and nurture a sense of accountability and entrepreneurial spirit within all associates to drive increased business
Recruit and Build Talent:
oSource, hire, develop and retain Best in Class Assistant Managers and Beauty Advisors
oConsistently seek talent and network to create a pool of qualified candidates
oAct as inspiration for The Way to PROSPERITY for L'OCCITANE employees; demonstrate and role model principles and behaviors and create a great place to work every day
oProvide consistent positive and constructive feedback to deliver on brand service expectations
oEnsure training and development of the team
oCultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to Company standards of integrity and ethics
Manage Operational Excellence:
oMaintain, train and coach L'OCCITANE visual and merchandising standards
oMaintain consistent communication among store team
oManage all areas related to stock (backroom organization, replenishment, and inventory control)
oEnsure standard operating procedures are executed, including testers, damages and other compliance related items
oEnsure store is neat, clean, and pristine at all times, and all housekeeping and maintenance of total store is executed daily
oCommunicate all relevant business information to the team in a timely manner
oManage and approve weekly payroll
oInteract transparently with District Managers and associates
Build Brand Loyalty:
oMaintain strong product knowledge of the entire L'OCCITANE product line
oModel and teach others to create a positive and impactful customer experience
oEmbrace and support our customer loyalty programs
o3+ years' work experience in retail sales with background in Luxury Boutique management a plus
oExperience with creation and implementation of sales and business strategy
oProven ability to motivate a sales force and drive results through people
oMust possess a positive, professional and energetic attitude, a passion for customer service, selling, operational excellence and talent management
oExcellent oral and written communication skills required
oIntermediate math skills
oComputer literacy including MS Office and POS software a plus
oAbility to work evenings and weekends
oAbility to lift 25+ pounds and climb ladders

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
